Sarah Harding fiancé 'owes £1k unpaid rent'

Sarah Harding's fiancé is reportedly facing legal action over unpaid rent on a former flat.

According to The Mirror, DJ Tom Crane owes the landlord over £1,000 for the flat - which the Girls Aloud star had moved some possessions into in 2009.

However, the unidentified property owner claims that he has received at least six emails from Crane over the last 18 months promising that he would transfer the cash.

"I will be transferring the first instalment of outstanding rent today... sorry for the delay," Crane is said to have written last August. In December, he responded: "I thought it had been transferred months ago... I'll take care of it immediately." Again, when he failed to do so, Crane told the landlord: "Sorry for the delay on the transfer. I am away... so will organise on my return."

The proprietor allegedly wants to take Crane - who proposed to Harding on New Year's Day while the couple were on holiday - to court but can't due to not having a forwarding address for the pair.

"This was Tom's flat and Sarah had her own flat nearby," a source close to Harding told the paper. "Like most couples she moved some possessions in but she had nothing to do with the rent. This was the first she'd heard of the money owed. Tom is to get it sorted today."
