The 'Slave To Love' singer, who released his 13th studio album Olympia last autumn, reportedly fell ill several days ago and was subsequently rushed to a nearby facility on Tuesday to undergo a battery of medical tests.
After being checked by on-site physicians, Ferry was discharged from the hospital and allowed to return home several hours later.
"All is well," his rep said in a statement. "He'll be touring his Olympia solo album starting on April 19."
Ferry's spokesperson also played down the suggestion that the musician had suffered a heart attack, insisting that his ailment isn't that severe.
The medical issue forced the former Roxy Music frontman to cancel an appearance at an event held at London's O2 arena on Tuesday in celebration of next year's Olympic Games.
He is currently scheduled to perform at this summer's Hop Farm Festival alongside Morrissey, Lou Reed, Chrissie Hynde and Graham Coxon.
Ferry recently disclosed that despite his suave reputation, he often finds it uncomfortable to flirt with beautiful women.
