Sherri Shepherd: 'My fiancé is perfect match'

The View co-host Sherri Shepherd has said that her fiancé is her perfect man.

Shephard announced her engagement to Lamar Sally in January this year, with the two planning to wed this August.

"I've got a really great friend," Shepherd told People of her fiancé. "He keeps me laughing all the time."

The 30 Rock star claimed that a sense of humour is the key to any couple having a successful relationship.

"I think laughter is number one," she explained. "He's silly and I'm silly, I think that's a great match."

Shepherd also revealed that the couple plan to go somewhere exotic on their honeymoon, and hinted at either Thailand or Europe as potential destinations.

The actress had previously revealed that none of her The View colleagues would be joining her at her bachelorette party, joking that she couldn't imagine Barbara Walters at a Chippendales party.
