Lindsay Lohan 'hides from father in house'

Lindsay Lohan's father Michael reportedly tried to break into her home on Sunday afternoon.

According to TMZ, Lohan allegedly hid in a closet while her father attempted to enter through the front door.

Michael supposedly also tried the back windows at the troubled actress's home in Venice, California before leaving at around 3pm.

The police were not called to the incident.

The Mean Girls star was recently cast in a biopic about alleged mob boss John Gotti, and will play Gotti's daughter Victoria.

Veteran actress Betty White recently criticised Lohan for being ungrateful for her success.
