Hugh Hefner: 'I don't worry about age'

Hugh Hefner has revealed that he has no age concerns.

The Playboy founder, who celebrated his 85th birthday on April 9, explained that he lives by the motto ''you're as young as the girl you feel''.

He said: "I'm a very lucky cat and I know it. Age is just a number if you're healthy.

"All I'm looking for is a lot of love and friendship. I think that is what life is all about: emotions and caring. My life is as good as it appears and better because it has included so much love."

Hefner, who is engaged to 24-year-old Crystal Harris, insisted that his birthday was one to remember.

Tweeting about his birthday, he wrote: "This Birthday Weekend was really one for the memory book. Too sweet. I had a really wonderful birthday in Vegas with Crystal, Anna, Marston, Claire Sinclair, Cooper, Samantha Crawley, Keith & his new girl (sic)."

Meanwhile, Harris has admitted that she's tried to form a friendship with Hefner's ex-gilfriend Holly Madison after the Holly's World star questioned her suitability to Hefner.

She said: "I think a lot of that was taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I have nothing against her. I've tried to be her friend. I asked her if she wanted to go to Disneyland and never heard back. No response."

Hefner added: "They have more in common than either one of them know. Such as me! Ha ha!"
