Zach Galifianakis: 'I want to buy Sarah Palin'

Zach Galifianakis has come up with solutions to how to fix the world in an interview - and suggested that Sarah Palin could be a marketable commodity.

The actor, who will soon be seen in The Hangover Part II, took part in an interview with GQ, in which he suggested ideas for how the world's difficulties could be fixed by using the popular game Mad Libs.

"Hi, my name is Zach Galifianakis," the actor wrote. "We all know the planet is going through a tough time. So many problems, so few problem-solving people. So in a stroke of genius and magazineness, GQ asked me to tackle these issues in the most powerful way possible - by completing a fill-in-the-blanks. This should solve everything."

As an example, Galifianakis commented: "Personally, I think Sarah Palin is MARKETABLE and I would like to BUY her (sic)."

Earlier this month, Warner Bros and the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) withdrew the trailer for The Hangover Part II from US cinemas.

Director Todd Phillips also revealed that a planned cameo by Liam Neeson had to be cut during post-production of the upcoming comedy sequel.
