Valerie Bertinelli: 'I've never been happier'

Valerie Bertinelli has insisted that her current relationship with husband Tom Vitale is even better than it was in the beginning.

The couple married in January 2011 after dating for seven years, a decision which the Hot In Cleveland actress claimed has helped keep their bond strong.

"I have never been happier. And it's not like we are newlyweds," she told PopEater.

"We had been together for seven years before we got married. We both have our own lives and own lives together, that's what makes it work."

Bertinelli previously confessed that she was "pissed off" on the night Vitale proposed.

She also revealed that the pair like to walk around their house naked together when home alone.
