Katherine Heigl adoption rumour false, says rep

A rep for Katherine Heigl has denied reports that the actress and husband Josh Kelley are planning to adopt a second child to save their marriage.

A story in the National Enquirer had suggested that the former Grey's Anatomy star and musician Kelley hope to "fix" their troubled union by adopting another baby.

However, the star's rep told Gossip Cop that the story is untrue, and that the couple have no plans to adopt another child.

The rep added that if Heigl and Kelley ever decide to adopt again, their motive would not be to "save" their marriage but simply to bring another child into their life together.

Heigl and Kelley married in 2007 in Utah. The Knocked Up star and Kelley adopted a 10-month-old daughter named Naleigh from Korea in September 2009.

Kelley recently revealed that he and Heigl plan to expand their family in the near future.
