BB Imogen Thomas 'had affair with footballer'

Big Brother star Imogen Thomas has reportedly been having an affair with an unnamed Premier League footballer.

According to The Sun, the married professional sportsman has obtained a gagging order to prevent the paper revealing his identity.

The tabloid claims that Thomas, 28, has been sleeping with the footballer for more than six months and meeting in luxury hotels, often prior to high-profile games.

A "worried friend" informed the newspaper of the fling, saying: "She's completely lovestruck."

When the model was questioned about her relationship with the player, she said: "I have no comment. My private life is my private life."

The player's agent is reported to have said: "I'm shocked. This is incredible. I can't believe it. He's such a family man.

"I don't know what to say, knowing the closeness of his family."

Earlier this week, it was revealed that a "world famous" actor has obtained a court order banning the revelation of his identity, after prostitute Helen Wood, who was involved in Wayne Rooney's sex scandal last year, alleged that he had cheated on his wife with her.

Thomas has previously dated footballer Jermaine Defoe, presenter Rav Wilding and Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas.
