Josh Duhamel "excited" about Fergie's break

Josh Duhamel has revealed that he's looking forward to spending some quality time with his wife Fergie.

The actor explained that he is "excited" that the Black Eyed Peas star is taking a career break.

He told E! Online: "We do want to take some time together and I'm excited to have more time with her, but we always consider the other person when we're doing something and make sure we're scheduling enough time to be together. That's the only way to make it work."

However, the Transformers: Dark of the Moon star insisted that his wife's absence is not just on his account, and that she needs a rest.

He added: "She's not doing it just because of me. She wants a little time. They've been working her like a rented mule for eight years. She wants a little time off."

The 38-year-old said that during Fergie's break he plans to work out with the 'Meet Me Halfway' singer.

He revealed: "Exercise is the one thing we love to do when we're home. She pushes me and I push her and I think it's important."
