According to WISH-TV, Ronald Andre Harrod and Larry Lee Richardson of Indianapolis escorted Lil Wayne to an Indiana nightclub on Wednesday while wearing police-type uniforms and gun belts.
The men were officially charged with impersonating a public servant.
The rapper's convoy included two vehicles driven by Richardson and Harrod, both with red and blue lights flashing and sirens blaring as they accompanied Wayne's tour bus.
The men, who said they worked for an Indianapolis company, claimed that they had credentials and permission to drive with the lights and sirens on.
Lil Wayne recently denied reports suggesting that the he was denied entry into the UK.
Earlier this month, the rapper was ordered to pay the IRS more than $5 million.
