Minka Kelly to make stage debut

Former Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly will make her official stage debut in New York next week.

According to Starpulse, Kelly will join 90210 star AnnaLynne McCord in the off-Broadway production Love, Loss, and What I Wore.

The play is based on the bestselling novel by Illene Beckerman, and was adapted for the stage by sisters Nora and Delia Ephron.

Kelly is best known for her role as Lyla Garrity on the popular NBC drama Friday Night Lights but also starred as the female lead in The Roommate, opposite Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester.

The actress was recently cast as one of the lead characters in ABC's upcoming remake of Charlie's Angels.

Love, Loss, and What I Wore has broken a number of box office records since its premiere last October.
