Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin have named their new baby after a Coldplay song.
Shakespeare in Love star Paltrow gave birth to baby Moses at the weekend. The origin of the name is Jewish, originating form the man who helped the Jews escape Egypt by parting the waves of the Red Sea. However, although the actress' father was Jewish, the name rather references a 2003 song written by Martin for Paltrow.
Lyrics include: "Like Moses has power over sea so you've got power over me. You're a refuge, somewhere I can go. You're air that, air that I can breathe, 'cause you're my golden opportunity.”
