Daniel Radcliffe will set a new record when he has his own portrait displayed at the National Portrait Gallery.
The Harry Potter star will become the youngest ever non-royal to have his portrait in the gallery.
Radcliffe posed for artist Stuart Pearson Wright as part of his series of actor portraits. Others to be painted by Wright include Timothy Spall, Parminder Nagra and fellow Harry Potter star Alan Rickman.
Gallery director Sandy Nairne explained: "Stuart Pearson Wright's drawings are wonderfully wrought studies in figure and character - the gallery is very pleased to have been able to acquire a fascinating group of subjects."
Radcliffe added: "I love it. Until recently, I'd seen a peek of it in the catalogue, but not actually seen the real thing. It was strange seeing myself as I was two years ago, not as I am now. If you look at each individual part of my face they look exactly like part of my face. Together it's surreal. It's a great honour to be in there among such amazing actors and actresses."
The portraits are part of exhibition Most People Are Other People, Portraits of Actors from Britain and Ireland.
