Madonna copyright case cancelled
A copyright infringement case against Madonna has been cancelled by the company who filed it.

According to BreakingNews.ie, Explosia, who own the international rights to the name Semtex, were planning to sue Madonna after she created a limited company called Semtex Girls Ltd.

However, the firm have decided not to continue with the expensive court case. Director Ladislav Lehky explained: "Madonna uses the name for pure promotional purposes. We can't really prove that we suffer a loss from that."

Madonna has said of the company: "The Semtex Girl is a girl who is dynamic, a girl who explodes, who doesn't know the meaning of nine to five, a girl who is unstoppable and who doesn't take no for an answer. And has excellent taste. Guys can be Semtex Girls too."
