Peter Sarsgaard and Maggie Gyllenhaal are engaged after dating for more than four years.

The couple starred together in 2003 low-budget production In God's Hands, which was never released, with Sarsgaard recently starring alongside future brother-in-law Jake Gyllenhaal in Jarhead.

Gyllenhaal is also expecting their first baby. No more information was forthcoming.
