Josh Hopkins: 'I'm not dating Courteney Cox'

Josh Hopkins has denied rumours that he and Cougar Town co-star Courtney Cox are dating.

The pair were first linked in March and further fuelled speculation about their relationship after photos appeared online of the actors enjoying a vacation in St Barts earlier this month.

However, the actor confessed that while he doesn't mind the gossip, his relationship with Cox is strictly platonic and has never involved romance.

"There [were] a lot of people with us, but we're the only ones you see [in the photos]," he told Access Hollywood of the pictures. "They just frame us two, so it's a story. It's not true.

"It's not like a terrible story to have out there. It's not like I'm upset about it. I mean, she's really hot. But it's just not true."

Cox's former husband David Arquette, who split from the actress last year, recently spoke out in support of the friendship between the co-stars, insisting that there is nothing scandalous about their relationship.
