The former Two and a Half actor took to the stage in Washington DC on Tuesday night, after spending the morning discussing custody arrangements for his twins in LA.
"Is it the craziest f**king idea ever? Is there anybody in here that would actually f**king vote for me?" he asked the audience, according to Politico.
The political website reports that Sheen, who named Nicolas Cage as his ideal running partner, also referenced claims about President Obama's citizenship.
"For starters, I was f**king born here, how about that?" he is quoted as saying. "And I got proof! Nothing photoshopped about my birth certificate."
The show began one hour later than originally billed because of Sheen's court commitments in California, where a judge ruled that custody arrangements between himself and former wife Brooke Mueller over their sons should remain the same.
Other reports have suggested that some audience members walked out of the DAR Constitution Hall during his performance, while Real Housewives of DC stars Michaele and Tareq Salahi were among those in attendance.
Sheen has another nine scheduled stops on his live tour.
