Vin Diesel: 'I like to hug people'

Vin Diesel has revealed that his temperament has mellowed with age.

The Fast & Furious 5 actor explained that he has no interest in fighting with people.

He told Men's Health: "With age, you get to a place where you don't want to knock people out. You just want to give people a hug.

"My mum used to say that I became a fighter and a scrapper and a tough guy to protect who I am at my core. This exterior means that I am actually one of the few people who can show love without coming across as soft."

The 43-year-old, who has confirmed plans to make a sequel to action film Fast & Furious 5, also said that he thinks positivity can help people enjoy life more.

He added: "I'm not saying you have to view the world through rose-tinted glasses. But there's a way of living life that involves positive energy."
