Williams gets Ward for charity World Cup

Robbie Williams has recruited new mate Shayne Ward for his charity World Cup side.

The ex-Take That star has asked Ward to take the centre-back position against Gordon Ramsay's rival team in his Soccer Aid match for Unicef.

A friend of the X Factor champ explained: "Shayne and Robbie hit it off at Top Of The Pops earlier this year. Then while Shayne was in LA filming his No Promises video, Robbie invited him round."

The match will take place at Old Trafford on May 27.
