Ethan Hawke, wife 'expecting second child'

Ethan Hawke and his wife Ryan Shawhughes are reportedly expecting their second child together.

Shawhughes had served as a nanny for Hawke and ex-wife Uma Thurman's two kids, Maya and Levon, and began dating the actor after he and Thurman divorced in 2004.

Following the birth of daughter Clementine in 2009, a source has now told Us magazine that Shawhughes is "five months along [and] totally showing".

While Hawke and Shawhughes "don't know the gender" of the child yet, the insider asserts that 2-year-old Clementine is hoping her mother gives birth to a little brother.

The New York, I Love You actor's rep would not confirm the pregnancy claim, citing a desire not to comment on Hawke's private life.

Last year, Hawke praised his teenage daughter Maya's willingness to spend time with her younger sibling Clementine.

Hawke will next co-star with Kristin Scott Thomas in the thriller The Woman in the Fifth, which is expected to be released later this year.
