Amanda Seyfried: 'I want children'

Amanda Seyfried has revealed that she is feeling broody.

The Red Riding Hood actress, who is said to be dating Ryan Phillippe, explained that being around her publicist's two children has made her eager to have her own kids.

She told Now: "I want children! My publicist now has two kids - I love her, so I like to think I'm an auntie to her kids. I can't wait to have my own! I think it's really exciting to know that I want them. Knock on wood, I hope I'm fertile, but I've never got pregnant before."

However, the 25-year-old insisted that she doesn't like to date.

She added: "I'm always somehow involved with somebody, so I don't really date. If I meet somebody I'm really fascinated by, I'll hang out with them, but I don't go out.

"I also know what I'm like and I'm picky anyway, but dating is a world that I'm not interested in, blind dates especially. What the f**k is that? Scary! But I guess it's been successful for some."
