Sheen organised the walk last Friday to raise funds and call attention to bipolar disorder. He asked fans to donate to the cause and to march with him through Toronto. The actor claimed on Twitter that he would be "matching all donations $ for $".
According to E!, Sheen followed through with his commitment by offering $5,886 (£3,554) to the Organisation for Bipolar Affective Disorders (OBAD) on Thursday.
OBAD head Kaj Korvela had previously expressed frustration with Sheen and said that the actor had failed to donate the funds.
However, Sheen's rep Larry Solters claimed that the former Two and a Half Men star had trouble getting a hold of Korvela in order to hand over the donations.
"We have been trying to reach the guy. Our plea to him is, 'Call us back. We believe in the organisation. We want to support you and get the word out. We want to help you out,'" Solters said.
Korvela later released a statement confirming that he and Sheen had finally connected and were in the process of discussing future donations.
"Yes, we are talking and I am sure things will be worked out. Mental health is serious business - thousands die every year because of suicide that can be linked to people not getting treatment. Charlie Sheen, I think, will be more than happy to help us," read Korvela's statement.
"I'm bi-winning" was Sheen's response when asked if he was bipolar during his now infamous interview on Good Morning America.
Catherine Zeta-Jones and Demi Lovato have both recently admitted that they struggle with bipolar disorder.
