Imogen Thomas 'in love' with Cristiano Ronaldo?

Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that he rekindled his romance with Imogen Thomas during her affair with an unknown Premier League footballer.

The Sunday Mirror states that the former lovers have been meeting regularly within the last three months, the same period of time as the Big Brother star's tryst with a married sportsman, whose identity was protected by a High Court injunction last week.

Ronaldo, who allegedly embarked upon a brief fling with Thomas in 2006, is quoted as telling friends that the former Miss Wales is "in love" and "obsessed" with him.

However, friends of Thomas have dismissed the Real Madrid player's version of events and accused him of bombarding the 28-year-old with unwanted phone calls.

A spokesperson said: "She wants him to stop calling her and has no intention of meeting him. She's ­saying she has never, in her life, met him."

Thomas previously claimed to feel "hurt and betrayed" by her mystery lover.
