LeAnn Rimes ex 'wishes her the best in marriage'

Dean Sheremet has extended congratulations to ex-wife LeAnn Rimes on the news of her marriage.

Rimes tied the knot with boyfriend Eddie Cibrian on Saturday, at a surprise ceremony in California attended by 40 of the couple's closest family and friends.

"LeAnn was a huge part of my life so I wish her the best," Sheremet told Us Weekly.

He divorced the country star in June 2010 following the revelation of her affair with Cibrian, who was also married at the time.

Rimes later claimed that she cheated on Sheremet because their marriage was not fulfilling, though Sheremet later insisted that their relationship was solid prior to her infidelity.

The singer recently insisted that she learned from the affair, and that it only took place because she "didn't have the tools" to end her marriage to Sheremet in the right way.
