Toni Collette gives birth to second child

Little Miss Sunshine actress Toni Collette has given birth to a baby boy.

The 38-year-old and her husband Dave Galafassi welcomed their second child together at a hospital in her native Australia on Friday.

Her representative confirmed to People: "Toni Collette, her husband David Galafassi and their daughter Sage Galafassi are excited and proud to announce the arrival of their baby boy, Arlo Robert Galafassi."

They added: "He was born on Good Friday, making it the greatest Friday indeed."

The new arrival meant that Collette missed the opening of her latest film Jesus Henry Christ at this weekend's Tribeca Film Festival in New York, but director David Lee stated that he had been in touch with the Oscar-nominee since and confirmed that she is "doing well."

Collette and Galafassi, who married in 2002 and had daughter Sage in 2008, first announced their pregnancy last October.

Collette previously discussed her plans to relocate to Australia after giving birth.
