Published Sunday, Apr 16 2006, 00:55 BST | By Dave West
Colleen McLoughlin and Coronation Street star Samia Smith are teaming up to make a documentary about caring for disabled kids.
Samia, who plays hairdresser Maria Sutherland, is already involved in fundraising for one of the hospices in the documentary.
Now she has decided to help McLoughlin – whose adopted sister has a speech and movement impairing condition – with the show.
The pair have visited Manchester’s Francis House hospice to help carers there working with youngsters.
