Kate Middleton beats Kate Moss in style poll

Kate Middleton has won the bride-to-be war against Kate Moss, after topping a poll of beauty styles.

A survey by QVC revealed that 83% of Brits prefer Middleton's "natural and warm" look, as opposed to Moss's more dramatic make-up.

One in ten women said that they would like to copy the future wife of Prince William's beauty tips, while Moss failed to make the top ten.

Other notable celebrities that were applauded for their style include Sienna Miller and Natalie Portman, as well as Arthur star Helen Mirren, who recently revealed that she wouldn't be "glued" to watching the royal wedding.

Middleton was also deemed to be a British style icon by 14% of women.

Prince William and Middleton are due to marry on Friday, April 29, in an event that will be televised across the globe, as well as being marked by a national bank holiday and street parties around the country.

Moss, meanwhile, is preparing to marry long-term boyfriend Jamie Hince from The Kills in a summer ceremony.
