Kate Hudson has admitted that she doesn't feel ready to have her baby.

The actress, who is expecting her second child, explained that she "can't believe" how quickly her pregnancy has gone.

She told TV talkshow host David Letterman: "We're getting close - weeks. Getting close enough to almost not be able to fly. I don't feel prepared. I can't believe how fast it's gone."

The 32-year-old is expecting her baby with fiancé Matt Bellamy and admitted that their relationship developed very quickly.

She said: "I was so excited to be single.

"And of course that's when you meet this amazing love. There he is - 'I love you'. Next thing you know, you're knocked up!"

Hudson insisted that she feels fortunate to have the Muse frontman as her partner.

She added: "He's a lovely, lovely man, English boy, a musician, and he's wonderful. I feel very lucky."
