Charlie Sheen, Brooke Mueller divorce finalised

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are now officially divorced, after the papers were finalised today.

According to reports from TMZ, Sheen will pay $55,000 (£34,421) a month in child support for 2-year-old twins Bob and Max.

Court documents stated: "Under no circumstances shall the child support paid by Charlie for Bob and Max be less than the child support paid by Charlie to [ex-wife] Denise Richards for [their children] Sam and Lola."

Sheen recently lost his bid to gain full custody of the twins. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hank Goldberg said that it was "in the best interest of the children" because of "questions of abuse and other inflammatory and emotional issues."

The Two and a Half Men actor married Mueller in 2008. They filed for divorce in November 2010, after Sheen was arrested the previous Christmas over domestic abuse charges.

Richards recently admitted that she does not know whether Sheen is sober or not.
