Elton clothes sale raises almost £400,000

A sale of Sir Elton John's clothes has raised almost £400,000 for his AIDS charity .
The Tiny Dancer singer gave away around 10,000 items of clothing for the annual five-day sale at specially-created shop Elton's Closet in the New York Rockefeller Centre.
Designer items from ties to shirts were on sale, raising £395,000 for the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which aims to both educate about the condition and help those who live with it.
