Kate Hudson father to pen 'tell-all' book

Kate Hudson's father Bill has reportedly signed a deal to pen a tell-all biography about his daughter and his ex-wife Goldie Hawn.

Bill, a member of rock group The Hudson Brothers, was married to Hawn for four years and is the father to Kate and her brother Oliver.

According to a book proposal obtained by The New York Post's Page Six, the musician is to write So You Are a Star: Coming to Terms With Fame, Infatuation and Family for California publishers Daily Swan.

The proposal touted personal details of the lives of both Kate and her mother, with Bill charging that Hawn "used her public platform to spread rumours about [his] relationship with [his] children".

So You Are a Star: Coming to Terms With Fame, Infatuation and Family will also detail Bill's "struggle to rebuild a relationship with his children" following his divorce from Hawn in 1980.

The book is scheduled to be released this fall.

Last week, pregnant Kate confirmed that she and boyfriend Matt Bellamy recently became engaged.
