Amanda Holden in 'Shrek: The Musical' - first look

The first promotional shot for Shrek: The Musical has been released.
Fans can get their first look at Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden in her role as Princess Fiona and Nigel Lindsay as the loveable Ogre.

Also shown in the image above are Richard Blackwood as Donkey and ex-EastEnders star Nigel Harman as Lord Farquaad.
In a plot following the first film of the franchise, the show will tell the story of Shrek and Donkey as they set off on their quest to rescue Princess Fiona from her dragon-guarded tower.
The cast will perform all new tracks alongside Shrek soundtrack favourites including 'I'm a Believer'.

Holden will not appear in the show from May 29 to June 4 due to the live stages of ITV1's Britain's Got Talent.
Shrek: The Musical will begin previewing at London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane from this Friday, May 6.
