Rimes, Cibrian 'made kids part of wedding'

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian have insisted that they made sure to include Cibrian's two children in their recent wedding.

The couple, who married earlier this month in an intimate surprise ceremony, revealed that they wanted 7-year-old Mason and 4-year-old Jake to feel as though they were part of the celebration.

In an interview with People, Rimes and Cibrian confessed that they had concerns that the boys - from Cibrian's previous relationship with Brandi Glanville - might feel confused about the rearrangement of their family.

"The kids have known we were getting married since we got engaged. We explained that they were going to have two families," the country star said. "It was really important for us to figure out how to explain it. And they were great. They were super excited and wanted to know what they could do."

Cibrian added: "The kids come first in everything we do. We wanted to make sure LeAnn and my wedding was not only ours, but their party too. They were beyond excited to celebrate us all coming together as a family."

Rimes recently thanked fans for their congratulations regarding her marriage.
