Michael J Fox thinks that having Parkinson’s Disease has actually improved his acting.
The film and TV actor says the neurological problem has forced him to simplify his work, both in dialogue and action, as he cannot always repeat shots in the same way.
“We shoot a master and then we’ll shoot a close-up and then we’ll shoot the two-shot, or whatever, so actually what you’re seeing is not happening at once, it’s a series of separate events that are edited together," he explained. "It, in a way, makes me a better actor because it makes me simpler.”
