The 25-year-old Australian model, who has had her own reality show in South Korea called I Am Jessica Gomes since 2009, is reportedly very excited about taking part in the celebrity television series.
Her manager Kathy Ward told the Herald Sun: "She's really looking forward to it... it's a big step."
Gomes is of Singaporean-Chinese and Portuguese heritage but built up strong ties with Korea after starring in various advertisements and variety shows there in 2008.
The lineup for the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars was recently announced and includes My Kitchen Rules judge Manu Fieldel, Home and Away actor Dan Ewing and model Lara Bingle.
Bingle has since admitted that she is very "nervous" about the show and said that she struggles to master the dance moves.
BBC Worldwide licenced the Dancing with the Stars format to South Korea's MBC Plus Media last year. It was the corporation's first format sale to the country.
