The American actress is engaged to Cambridge-born Muse singer Matt Bellamy, who is the father of her unborn child.
Asked what British things she enjoyed, Hudson told Metro: "Scones, clotted cream and jam. I can't not eat them. And I love a British breakfast but without the beans. It's about what they do to your digestive system."
Asked what she did not like, she added: "Marmite. I can't even look at it."
Of her relationship with Briton Bellamy, Hudson said: "What's funny is even before I met Matt, I was going to get a flat here.
"I shot Nine in London. I've shot twice here and have a whole life with lots of girlfriends. I was constantly online looking at properties and then, lo and behold, I meet my man, my baby's daddy."
