Trump has not officially announced his candidacy, but he has indicated in numerous interviews that he is very interested in challenging for the Republican nomination.
During an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Baldwin insisted that the mogul's recent boasts about his potential candidacy shouldn't be taken so seriously.
"Trump running for president is a good thing. It's fun," the 30 Rock star claimed. "Trump winning the presidency, that's a bad thing!"
After goading Fallon into performing his trademark Trump impression, Baldwin mused about how the Celebrity Apprentice host would have fit in during biblical times.
"Could you imagine Trump like in the times of Christ?... Trump like meets Jesus and [tells him], 'Take a bath and cut your hair. And get a nice necktie'," Baldwin joked.
Baldwin joins a growing list of celebrities including David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld and Cher who have mocked Trump's political aspirations.
