Carey Hart: 'Pink will be an awesome mum'

Pink's husband Carey Hart has said that he thinks that his pop singer wife will be an "awesome" mother when they welcome their first child together later this year.

The couple announced their pregnancy in November last year, with Hart revealing that he has no worries about their future parenting skills.

"[Pink] is going to be awesome," Hart told People on Friday. "She's just so connected and so ready to be a mother."

"Our kid is going to have a great experience," he added. "He or she is going to travel the world with us."

Despite his excitement about becoming a father, Hart did admit that he would feel slightly sad if he had a baby girl, but only because he would be so protective of her.

"I'm pretty intimidating looking so I feel sorry for a little girl trying to bring boys home," he joked.

Pink married the motocross star in 2006, following which the couple endured a year-long separation before reconciling in 2009.
