The Daily Star Sunday reports that the former Big Brother contestant received notification that Keith Pollard, who was convicted of killing her mother when she was a child, may be granted parole within the next month.
A source explained: "She telephoned the police liaison officer straightaway to find out more about when he was coming out and where he would be living.
"She asked where he's going to be living but they didn't have that information. She's distraught. She genuinely fears he's going to come after her."
The insider continued: "Chanelle doesn't know what to do for the best. She doesn't want to leave her home but she can't spend her days in a complete panic, fearing every noise outside is Pollard coming to kill her."
A representative for Hayes, who is mother to 10-month old son Blakely, confirmed to the Daily Mail that the reality TV star is aware of the potential release of Pollard.
