Last night, an anonymous Twitter user claimed to reveal details of celebrities who have allegedly taken out super-injunctions to prevent details of their private lives from being published by the press.
Khan used her own Twitter account to respond to rumours that she had taken out a court order. She wrote: "Rumour that I have a super injunction preventing publication of "intimate" photos of me and Jeremy Clarkson. NOT TRUE!"
The writer and campaigner further added that the speculation was "untrue and upsetting" and "not [very] funny... if you're someone's wife".
She also retweeted a message from political blogger Guido Fawkes, stating "that last [tweet] was from a man who'd know".
It was reported last week that another married Premiership footballer had been granted a gagging order to prevent details of his alleged affair with an 18-year-old model becoming public.
Broadcaster Andrew Marr recently went to the press to explain why he took out a High Court injunction to stop the press reporting details about his private life.
