Justin Bieber hits back at 'CSI' "brat" claim

Justin Bieber has hit back at a CSI cast member who suggested that he behaved like "a brat" during his brief stint on the show.

Yesterday CSI star Marg Helgenberger said during an interview that the Canadian popstar was "kind of a brat". However, Bieber has insisted that the two barely had any interaction.

"It's kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you," Bieber tweeted earlier today. "I will continue to wish them luck and be kind."

He continued: "I know who I am and sometimes people are just going to say what they want. Rumours are just that... rumours."

The singer also hit out at Helgenberger's insinuation that he behaved immaturely while on set and played a number of pranks on the production team.

"Don't spread gossip and don't spread rumours about others; I'm a kid and I know that," Bieber pointedly added.

Bieber made two appearances on the show's 11th season as teen bomb expert Jason McCann, before being dramatically killed off in the episode 'Targets of Obsession' in February.
