Reese Witherspoon has twisted her ankle.

According to People, the Legally Blonde actress was spotted leaving church on Mother's Day with a cast on her left foot.

"She twisted her ankle and is in a walking cast temporarily. Nothing serious," Witherspoon's rep said of the injury.

The newlywed actress recently revealed that her husband Jim Toth finds her celebrity lifestyle to be "totally bizarre".

The 35-year-old actress wed the Hollywood agent in late March in a private ceremony at her estate in Ojai, California. She was previously married to actor Ryan Phillippe, with whom she had two children, Ava and Deacon.

Witherspoon can currently be seen in the movie Water for Elephants opposite Twilight star Robert Pattinson.

In a recent interview, the 24-year-old actor said that he would like to concentrate on creating music when he is not shooting a movie. Pattinson has previously recorded two songs for the Twilight soundtrack.
