Johnny Depp: 'Happy kids are my dream'

The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is father to two children with longtime partner Vanessa Paradis, 11-year-old Jack and 9-year-old Lily Rose.
Asked about his hopes for the future in an interview with Parade, he responded: "Smooth sailing. That's what I hope for. I'm okay with no big ups and no big downs. Full steam ahead.
"As a family man, all you want as a dad is pure happiness for your kids. That's it, that's my dream: happy kids."
Depp recently confessed that working with Penelope Cruz on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strange Tides made him feel "broody and clucky".
Cruz, who was pregnant at the time of filming, gave birth to son Leo with partner Javier Bardem in January.
