Kate Walsh: "I don't like to diet"

Kate Walsh has insisted that she is not concerned about her weight.

In an interview with Parade, the Private Practice actress confessed that she still allows herself to eat unhealthy foods that she craves despite pressure to maintain her slim figure.

"I think we're all trying to eat healthier these days, and as a woman and an actress, I'm always concerned about eating right. But at the same time, you want it to taste good. I'm sort of notorious for having at least one potato chip a day," she explained.

"I don't like to diet, that's never worked for me. I like to eat right and in moderation, but give myself treats and kind of have everything."

She went on to confess that she has a long history of being surrounded by food and was even considered "fast food royalty" because of her employment, adding: "My very first job was a cashier at Burger King in Tucson, Arizona. And I occasionally worked the drive-thru. I'd go wherever I was needed!

"My second job was at Dairy Queen. I stayed in the fast food royalty. My friend's dad owned a Dairy Queen in Tucson. That was during my sophomore summer of high school."

Walsh recently confessed that she feels like a "loser" because she has not had children.
