Charlie Sheen 'fails to win custody of daughters'

Denise Richards has reportedly ensured that she has sole custody of her daughters with troubled actor Charlie Sheen.

The former spouses met with their lawyers, as well as an unbiased third party, this week to discuss whether Sheen should be allowed weekend custody of their children Sam and Lola.

According to TMZ, Richards was able to convince those in attendance that Sheen's current living situation was not a good environment to raise children.

"Looong day!!! (sic)" Richards tweeted, following the negotiations. "Very production, hope everyone had a great day and night."

Sheen finalised his divorce to Brooke Mueller last week but was unable to convince a judge that he should be granted sole custody of their two twin sons Bob and Mac.

Sheen has yet to announce whether he plans to take Richards to court over the custody arrangement.
