Smith had rented the luxury van for $9,000 (£5,500) a week while filming Men in Black III in New York.
The vehicle, which includes two storeys, marble floors, a full kitchen, lounge, movie room, bedroom, bathroom and bar, incurred the wrath of residents in the area.
Although city officials had reportedly said that the actor's trailer was not breaking any regulations, TMZ reports that the 53ft haven has been towed by the studio to a nearby parking lot.
The website said that the decision was taken after residents lodged complaints about the transport blocking traffic and giving off excessive fumes.
Smith was recently confirmed for an upcoming M. Night Shyamalan project, alongside his son Jaden.
