Sheen ordered: Stay away from Richards

Charlie Sheen has been ordered to stay at least 300 feet away from his ex-wife Denise Richards.

The judgement was made after Richards alleged that the actor had been abusive and threatened to kill her.

The actress said in court papers: "I am filing this now because I can no longer accept abusive and threatening manner and must stop him from the cycle of his abuse toward me and our children and his continued threats of violence and statements that he is going to kill me."

She also claimed that Sheen misused prescription drugs, used prostitutes and gambled too much.

Sheen denied the claims. The Two and a Half Men star's publicist Stan Rosenfield said: "For the last year, Charlie Sheen has been hit with these ridiculous charges over and over and over again and has chosen to be a respectful gentleman and just respond with no comment."

The judge agreed to Sheen's request that he could record all phone conversations he had with Richards and granted him supervised access to his daughters Sam and Lola one day a week.

The order comes just over four months since the pair filed for divorce on their infamously troubled marriage.
