D12 rapper Swift has been jailed for missing a court appearance to be at the funeral of bandmate Proof.
The musician was given 93 days for violating a probation term to act as an honorary pallbearer during the memorial service, which was attended by more than 2000 people.
Swift - real name Ondre Moore - has been on probation for drunk driving and drugs charges last October. He was meant to in court for a related hearing last week.
When he failed to turn up Judge MacKenzie issued a warrant and set his bail value at $500,000. He was arrested later in the week.
The Judge told him: "While I recognise the importance of attending a funeral, there is a requirement that you make some effort to comply with a court order."
