Further accolades were presented to recipients including Glee, Modern Family and NBC Entertainment chairman Robert Greenblatt in Los Angeles last month.
Ricky Martin and Def Jam record executive Russell Simmons were also recognised at a ceremony in New York earlier this year.
Cattrall's Sex and the City co-star Cynthia Nixon was given the 'Vito Russo Award' - presented to a public figure who has taken a stand for equal rights - at last year's ceremony.
